Chaotic Galaxy Philosophy
What does it look like to reconnect our bodies to our hearts? To move in synergy and connection with the people, energies, and wilds around us?
Chaotic Galaxy’s mission is to promote healing and wellness in individuals and communities through aiding in physical healing and relaxation, self-exploration, and political and justice education. Through a variety of healing modalities, Chaotic Galaxy hopes to provide a steady, embodied foundation for people to continue their own walk of healing, recovery, and discovery.
Chaotic Galaxy is founded on the belief that our innate state is one of love and healing. The world around us, structured and damaged by capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism, Puritanicalism, and other fear-based belief systems that cause marginalization and subjugation of people, disorients and disconnects us from our core loving and loved selves. Because our wounding cannot be separated from the world and systems of power around us, Chaotic Galaxy believes that it is inherently a politically transgressive act to heal.
All of the modalities Chaotic Galaxy offers are informed by an understanding of both political and personal trauma and the ways in which it manifests in the both the body and the psyche, and treatments are crafted to address these cultural causes of personal dis-ease, as well as treatment for symptoms.
We believe in a world founded on equity and love, where all get what they need, and we exist in balance with our planet and its Wilds. We believe in an interdependent relationship between all peoples and institutions, where all benefit from the existence of the others, and will care for those who have need without judgement or expectation of reciprocity. We believe in a government that distributes wealth and resources equitably, without hoarding or poverty. We believe in the power of the Divine and Justice. We believe in Love.
